Overview

These standards apply to profiles, listings, photographs, messages, usernames, reviews or comments if enabled,

and other user-generated content.

7.1 Prohibited content and behaviour

  • child sexual abuse or exploitation material, grooming or sexual exploitation of children;
  • non-consensual intimate imagery or threats to distribute it;
  • material promoting or facilitating terrorism or violent extremism where prohibited by law;
  • credible threats of violence, stalking, serious harassment or targeted abuse;
  • unlawful extreme violence or other unlawful or restricted material;
  • unlawful hateful or discriminatory abuse;
  • doxxing or malicious publication of another person's private or sensitive information;
  • scams, phishing, impersonation, identity theft or fraudulent payment instructions;
  • malware, malicious links, spam or attempts to compromise accounts or the platform;
  • content or conduct that otherwise breaches applicable Australian online-safety law or a lawful direction or notice.

7.2 Reporting and blocking

Price Pad provides mechanisms for users to report content, listings, accounts or messages and to block another

user where the relevant feature is available. Reports should identify the content or account and explain the

concern.

7.3 Response

Price Pad may use user reports, automated signals and human review. Depending on severity, context and legal

requirements, action may include warning, content restriction or removal, feature restriction, account suspension

or termination, preservation of relevant records, or cooperation with eSafety, law enforcement or another

competent authority.

Price Pad does not guarantee that every harmful item will be detected before it is seen. A person facing immediate

danger should contact emergency services.

7.4 Reviews

Where appropriate and lawful, a user affected by a moderation decision may request review through the published

Support channel. Price Pad may withhold information where disclosure would compromise safety, fraud

prevention, another person's privacy, confidential systems or a legal investigation.

7.5 Compliance

Price Pad will maintain systems, policies and processes reasonably required by the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth) and any Online Safety Code or Standard applicable to the service features Price Pad operates.

Because Price Pad may provide direct user-to-user messaging or chat functionality, Price Pad will assess and comply with requirements applicable to relevant electronic services where those requirements apply, including applicable obligations concerning unlawful material and age-restricted material. Price Pad will also assess whether requirements applying to social media services, designated internet services or other regulated service categories apply to particular Price Pad features.

Price Pad may implement reporting, blocking, moderation, detection, record-keeping, user-safety, age-related, risk-assessment, transparency or other controls where reasonably required by applicable law, codes, standards or lawful regulatory directions. Price Pad may modify, restrict or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary to meet those obligations.
