1. Who we are
PricePad ("we", "us") provides automated property estimates, affordability tools, and property listings for Australian users. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, user type (homeowner, investor, agent), and optional suburb/postcode.
- Tool inputs: property details you enter into the valuation tool and figures entered into the affordability calculator.
- Listing content: addresses, property attributes, photos and asking prices you publish.
- Messages and offers you send to other users through the in-app inbox.
- Lead details: your email address if you ask us to send you an estimate.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited.
We do not collect government identifiers, and we do not ask for bank account or credit card numbers — card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never reach our servers.
3. How we use it
- To generate and save your estimates and affordability results.
- To operate accounts, listings, messaging and offers.
- To process subscription payments and manage plan access.
- To send service emails such as password resets and estimate confirmations.
- To improve accuracy, fix faults, and understand aggregate usage.
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
4. Service providers
We share limited data with providers who help us run the service:
- Our managed cloud backend and database provider (authentication, database, file storage).
- Stripe — subscription payments and billing records.
- Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics, only where you have consented to analytics cookies.
- Our email delivery provider — transactional and account emails.
Some providers process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in and support secure payments. Analytics cookies load only after you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner. See the Cookie Notice for details and how to change your choice.
6. Security and retention
Access to your saved data is restricted to your own account through row-level security rules, and traffic is encrypted in transit. We keep account data for as long as your account is open, and billing records for as long as Australian tax and record-keeping law requires. Anonymous estimates are retained in de-identified form.
No online service can guarantee absolute security; you are responsible for keeping your password private.
7. Access, correction and deletion
You can view and update most details from your account page. To request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and associated data, email privacy@pricepad.com.au. We respond to requests within 30 days.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be signalled on this page with a new "last updated" date.
